		<description>Great post. Love your ideas especially about overcoming the fear of criticism and being willing to make mistakes if that is the price of taking some action. I realized recently that I was thinking of myself as a bad writer, and it was epiphanous -- finally to be thinking of myself as a "writer," where before I always thought "someday I'll write something."

Also really like the idea of blogs as letters rather than diaries. I think of Emily Dickinson's line "This is my letter to the world, That never wrote to me --"</description>
